Hatherton Bowling Club.

A warm welcome to the Hatherton Bowling Club website to players, members and Crown Green Bowlers everywhere.

The club's address is Hatherton, Four Crosses, Cannock, WS11 1RR (off the A5) and the green is situated in the grounds of the Cannock Cricket and Hockey Club formerly known as The Morris Ground and now known as Chase Park.

Review of 2011.

With one notable exception all our teams finished in the lower half of their leagues or in mid-table. The exception was the Stafford Vets B Team who gained promotion in their first year winning the League by four clear points.
 The Walsall and District team finished in the lower half of the table as did the Walsall Vets A and B teams. They actually finished with the same number of points but the A team had a better average total. The Lichfield and District A team finished in mid-table. In this league three teams were too strong for the rest and there was a difference of sixteen points between the third and fourth teams. Meanwhile the B team finished in the lower half but shared the same number of points as the two teams above. The Stafford Vets finished comfortably in mid-table having drawn four of their matches. This format seems to throw up a lot of drawn games; one team in Marian's division drew seven of their matches. So the B team will join the A team in the same division this coming season. The Lichfield Over 50's A team finished in the lower half while the B team finished in mid-table. The Cannock A team ended the season comfortably in mid-table while the B team unfortunately finished second from bottom despite having the same points as the team above. Finally the Stafford Island Vets finished in the lower half.

A Bowls Club Quiz Night was held in the Cricket Club on 15th March 2012 at 7.30 p.m.

There was a committee meeting at 11 a.m. on 18th January 2012 In Jack's Bar

The AGM was held on 25th January 2012 at 7.30 p.m.

The Annual Dinner was held on Thursday, 1st December 2011.

The pre-season meeting was held on Wednesday 23rd March.

The A.G.M. was held on Wednesday the 26th January 2011 at 8.00 p.m.

A Committee meeting was held on Wednesday 19th January at 11 a.m.
